چکیده

Weaknesses in several recently proposed ideas about congestion control and avoidance in high-speed networks are identi ed. Both sides of the debate concerning priorreservation of resources versus walk-in service, open-loop control versus feedback control, rate control versus window control, and router-based control versus source-based control are presented. The circumstances under which backpressure is useful or not useful are discussed, and it is argued that a single congestion scheme is not su cient, but that a combination of several schemes is required for complete congestion management in a network.

Congestion Management in Power Systems Via Intelligent Method

In the deregulated power systems, transmission congestion is one of the significant and main problems of the electrical networks which can cause incremental cost in the energy. This problem has resulted to new challenging issues in different parts of power systems which there was not in the traditional systems or at least had very little importance. Transmission congestion happens when the maxi...

Improvement of the mechanism of congestion avoidance in mobile networks

Mobile ad hoc network congestion control is a significant problem. Standard mechanism for congestion control (TCP), the ability to run certain features of a wireless network, several mutations are not common. Optimal Routing Multi-agent System Approach for Congestion Control in High Speed Networks

Traffic Management and Congestion Control are major issues in high speed networks. Congestion represents an overloaded condition in a network. In this paper, we described existing Multi-Agent architecture for management of ATM networks. We developed a software module using Java, by using Optimal Routing for controlling congestion in high speed networks. We described the steps to be followed in ...

Creating Dynamic Sub-Route to Control Congestion Based on Learning Automata Technique in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

Ad hoc mobile networks have dynamic topology with no central management. Because of the high mobility of nodes, the network topology may change constantly, so creating a routing with high reliability is one of the major challenges of these networks .In the proposed framework first, by finding directions to the destination and calculating the value of the rout the combination of this value with ...
